Recent updates on how I’m doing, where I am, what I’m planning and what I’m working on now.
I’m often asked “What are you doing now?”, or the more general “How are you?”. And because I am enjoying a stable (read – “good”) life, it doesn’t change much from day to day. But, it’s actually a good idea to keep track on some of the major changes in my life on this “Now” page, inspired by Derek Sivers.
In March, I turned 27. Birthdays cause you to reflect on life. Since many of you have asked for my advice, I’ve decided to organize the personal notes I’ve written down in the last 10 years. I’m putting them together into a self-help book based on the high points of my experience in the areas of personal growth, time-management, career, marketing, personal life, spirituality, modeling and working out. I’m giving myself 3 months, so hopefully you’ll be able to read it in September 2017.
2016: Back to Europe
One thing I remember the most is returning to Europe in the summer and working in Germany and Italy for 3 months. This is when I met with my Italian family in Naples for the first time in 16 years and fulfilled my dream of working with Dolce&Gabbana. Living out of my suitcase and flying every week between Hamburg and Milan taught me a lot about organizing, discipline and many other helpful habits.
I resumed my modeling career and Instagram. When I signed with Wilhelmina LA, I worked really hard on building my modeling career, doing test shoots, working out at the gym and learning English. And I think I did pretty well.
