The Problem
Most meetings start with five minutes of remembering. Who is this again, where did we leave off, what did I promise last time. The preparation everyone intends to do loses to the day's momentum, and the meeting spends its best minutes warming up instead of deciding.
The Solution
A brief that appears before every call without being asked for. One page: who you're meeting, the relationship history, open items between you, and the question this meeting exists to answer. You walk in warm.
How It Works
- Claude reads tomorrow's calendar each evening and identifies every meeting with an external person.
- For each one, it pulls the contact's profile, recent correspondence and any open follow-ups.
- The brief compresses to one page: context, history, open items and a suggested objective for the call.
- Briefs attach to the Morning Brief, so the day's meetings and their prep arrive together.
- After the call, your notes file back to the contact's profile, and the next brief starts from them.
Built With
- Calendar reading on an evening schedule
- Client Profiles as the memory source
- A one-page brief template with a stated objective
- Delivery through the Morning Brief
It stands on the Client Profiles and the Calendar Scheduling, and it feeds each meeting's outcome back into the profile it came from.
What You Get
- Every meeting entered warm, with history and purpose in hand
- Promises from past calls surfaced before they become awkward
- A record that compounds, because each meeting's notes prepare the next one
The Numbers
One day to build once profiles and calendar are connected. It returns about an hour a week of scrambled preparation, and the meetings themselves get shorter because they start at the point.
